-
Flooded over 5,000 homes and displaced individuals and families
-
Approximately 2,000 homes received major damage or were destroyed
-
Less than 13% of our impacted community carried flood insurance coverage
-
Hardin County is a small, underserved county in the TOP 10 most impacted, presidentially declared counties in Texas
Under the direction of Hardin County Judge Wayne McDaniel, Hardin County Strong was initially formed to help individuals and families recover from Harvey. All Harvey cases were completed in August 2020 and Hardin County Strong remains sustainable and active to continue to assist the community with future disaster-related events. Hardin County Strong partners with individuals and organizations who can assist with money, manpower and materials. If you need help, we'll walk you through the process of recovery.
